i did this simple huge 50 cm cake from my side for a charity that Adcock Ingram (a pharmaceutical company) sponsors.
they wanted a carved shoe cake but i panicked, what if it looked horrid as iv never done one before, so i promised a small pair of boots instead!!
its a plain boring cake but the result was amazing, my aunt who was instrumental in bringing this organisation to Durban, South Africa said all the little orphaned kids enjoyed the cake so much they had buttercream all over themselves:)
